A PAIR OF QAJAR LACQUER PANELLED DOORS, each with a large central panel flanked by two smaller similar, the central panels painted with Safavid style scenes of battles, the top with pendant in relief, the interstices with similar horsemen, animals and combat scenes, the moulding painted with meandering vine, the sang-de-boeuf borders with parrot and meandering floral sprays in relief, with arabesque and vignette cartouches on gold painted ground of birds and plants above and below, the central post with arabesques and flowering vine, the reverse plain, probably Isfahan, 19th century (slight crackelure)
