The waved crossbanded top with inset burgundy leather-lined writing-surface and moulded edge with foliate C-scroll angle-clasps, above three crossbanded and quarter-veneered drawers with inset corners to one side and simulated drawers to the other, divided by pierced foliate C-scroll mounts, the sides with further foliate mounts, on cabriole legs headed by foliage and foliate-wrapped reeded bands and terminating in C-scroll sabots, stamped 'P. GARNIER' and 'JME' to the underside at the back, restorations and partially remounted
