The case with pineapple finial to a chamfered top, cornucopia and ring hands to the sides above fishscale sound frets, ripple moulded cornices and galleries, with brass-lined quarter panels to the front flanked by brass-lined chamfered angles, on brass ball feet, the white painted Roman dial signed P. ROSKELL & SONS/LIVERPOOL, blued steel hands, the five pillar twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement, shouldered plates with pendulum holdfast and strike on bell -- 19¾in. (50cm.) high
