Manuscript on cream paper, 169ff. with 21ll. of fine red naskh within gold clouds, text outlined with gold rules, gold dots between verses, vocalisation in blue, sura headings in gold on blue panels, opening gold and polychrome illuminated bifolio, preceded by two further illuminated bifolios with prayers to be read before the reading of the Qur'an and the names of the suwar in gold within blue lobed cartouches, final folio with colophon with name of scribe Latifullah ibn Muhammad Husayn al-Mazandarani in the year 1105, good condition, some slight retouching of blue, in 19th century floral lacquer binding with similar doublures
