Probably Timurid Iran or Iraq, 15th century
Arabic manuscript on cream paper, 214ff. with 15ll.of black naskh, headings in larger script, text outlined with gold, occasional marginal commentary possibly in the hand of the scribe, final folio dated 14 Dhul Qa'da 601, opening bifolio with fine blue and gold illumination, roundels containing poems, erroneous inscription below suggesting the copy is in the hand of Yaqut al-Must'asimi, generally very good condition, later dark brown morocco binding with gold tooled decoration
