AN IRON POWDER-FLASK in Italian 16th Century style, made in two halves, circular and drawn up at the top into a nozzle (slight damage), the surface embossed and chased in high relief throughout with strapwork involving masks, birds, grotesques, winged cherub's heads and a trophy of arms, picked out in silver, framed by swags of fruit and foliage and set against a ground partly gilt and partly silvered, and suspension loops formed as monsters (one missing)
