A GILT-METAL-MOUNTED SÈVRES-PATTERN PALE-BLUE-GROUND JARDINIÈRE, the shaped cylindrical body moulded with two white and gilt scroll handles and painted in a pastel palette on the front and reverse with a large cluster of flowers and fruit, each enclosed within a white-ground gilt foliage-scroll and flowered quatrefoil cartouche, the sides with smaller clusters of flowers and fruit within similar cartouches, on an everted foot, the rims with gilt dentil-pattern, mounted with a detachable four-footed ribbed and beaded circular stand (gilding slightly rubbed), circa 1860
