A SÈVRES (LATER-DECORATED) AND ORMOLU TAZZA, the shaped-square porcelain dish with a green and pink border moulded in relief with scrolls and feuilles-de-choux enriched in gilding and reserved with oval cartouches of birds on branches in leafy landscape vignettes, the centre painted with a profusion of flowers and fruit within a chased gilt band, the pink well edged with a band of gilt scrolls and meandering flowers, on a circular ormolu stand cast with foliage scrolls and a laurel-wreath and on four dolphin feet (the porcelain with two areas of restoration to the rim, slight wear to gilding and scratches to centre), blue interlaced L mark, the porcelain 18th Century, decorated and mounted circa 1840
