A SÈVRES (LATER-DECORATED) BLEU CELESTE CIRCULAR PLATE, the centre painted with a cherub among clouds, holding aloft a cluster of grapes and foliage and with a pink drape swirling around him, within a slender gilt ciselé hexafoil cartouche adorned with bouquets, the border with three white-ground gilt-scroll cartouches festooned with flowers and reserved with bouquets, with a shaped gilt dentil-pattern rim (very slight wear to painted decoration in centre), blue crossed swords mark, incised 60, the porcelain 18th Century, the decoration circa 1840
