A VIENNA-STYLE LUSTROUS-CELADON-GROUND VASE of compressed and flattened oviform, the shoulder with two gilt angular loop handles, painted with a portrait of a young girl facing left, with long dark-brown hair cascading over her bare shoulders, within a circular cartouche outlined with raised gilt meandering flowers and leaves extending across the reverse, beneath a flared octafoil neck and on a spreading quatrefoil foot (slight wear to gilding), blue beehive mark, gilt decorator's mark and Germany, Pressnummer 638, circa 1910
