A VIENNA-STYLE TWO-HANDLED 'JEWELLED' VASE AND COVER of compressed globular form with a conical finial, painted by Wagner with a portrait of a young girl entitled Paesie facing right, her long dark-brown hair adorned with a laurel-garland, falling over her bare shoulders, within an oval seeded gilt band cartouche below foliage-scrolls and diaper-pattern, the white ground painted with swags of pink roses alternating with gilt flowers suspended in swags from a gilt loop and dot-pattern band, the footrim and cover with turquoise 'jewels' (minor wear to gilding on finial), orange crowned CD monogram and script, pattern number 9620, circa 1910
