A VIENNA-STYLE SLENDER WAISTED CYLINDRICAL VASE painted by Neu??? with a continuous scene of a maiden festooned with flowers, wearing a diaphanous pink and white dress and fluttering green stole, standing on a lily-pad in a secluded pond shaded by rocks, trees and shrubs, the reverse with a cherub holding a flower-garland among clouds, beneath chased gilt bands on the rim and base, the lower body and spreading foot with a lustrous claret glaze richly gilt with bands of leaf-patterns, above a chased gilt footrim, signed, blue beehive mark and gilt decorator's mark of a rose, indistinct iron-red script, circa 1900
