THE PROPERTY OF THE LORD ELPHINSTONE
The following five portrait minaitures by George Engleheart depict the children of the Hon. William Fullerton-ELphinstone, second son of Charles, 10th Baron Elphinstone and his wife Elizabeth (died 1834), eldest daughter of William Fullerton of Carstairs, co. Lanark. On the death of her uncle, John Fullerton of Carberry, the additional surname of Fullerton was assumed before that of Elphinstone.

John (1784-1854), eldest son of the Hon. William Fullerton-Elphinstone served in the East India Service and spent much of his life in Canton. He died unmarried
