A PAIR OF ENAMEL PLAQUES PAINTED WITH ALLEGORICAL FIGURES signed W.H. Hopkins Craft, 1788
Oval, each with a female figure, one representing Love, holding a ring and surrounded by a pair of doves, flowers, an urn and a scroll, the other Plenty, holding a tazza of jewells, with an urn crown and scepter on a table and a scroll of music and a lyre on a plinth on either side, her foot resting on a footstool, in interior settings, painted in shades of blue, yellow and puce with brown backgrounds, in plain gilt frames, with fitted red leather and velvet lined case, signed W.H.Craft and dated lower right - 5½in. (14cm.) high (2)
