This chronometer has a 14400 train and having a lever escapement therefore beats ¼ seconds. There is a slot in the sub-frame assembly which would have accommodated an Arnold spring detent, however the inner end now carries a small plate which carries the top pivot at the lever, the bottom pivot being in a potence screwed to the pillar-plate. t
