Engraved frontispiece (repaired tear to lower margin, close-shaved), 15 engraved plates, nine folding (but close-shaved at upper margins, with loss to image in one case), six plates of 83 coats-of-arms (browned). (Wormhole running through lower margin.) Contemporary sheep, tooled in gilt, covers with centrally-placed gilt stamp of the lion of Bohemia, spine gilt but oxidised to black (scuffed).
A finely illustrated record of the entry into Prague on 29th April, 1743, of Maria Theresa, the oath of allegiance to her by the Estates General on 2nd May, and her coronation as Queen of Bohemia and Hungary on the 12th. The folding plates are after Joseph Dietsler (fl.1721-43) and engraved by J.D. Herz, Martin Tyroff, J. Pfeffel and others. Berlin Kat. 2135 (lacking frontispiece); Lipperheide Sc 17; Vinet 684.
