SIXTEEN GOLD LEAVES AND A ROSETTE FROM A HELLENISTIC WREATH, the sixteen sheet gold leaves each formed from three conjoined oak leaves with repouss/aee veining, pierced at the base for attachment, and a single sheet gold rosette with nine petals, pierced in the centre, perhaps originally from the centre of the same wreath, 1 5/8in. (4.2cm.) long max., circa early 2nd Century B.C.;and four silver diadem sections with repeated repoussa/ee decoration, one with four-horse chariots driven by a winged figure, another with frontally facing heads, another with rosettes and the fourth undecorated, 8¾in. (22.2cm.) long max., framed, mainly 7th-6th Century B.C.
