gouache heightened with gold on paper, the Sultan rides his horse through a rocky landscape as the old woman accosts him, an attendant rides behind holding a sunshade, further attendants accompany them on horseback and on foot, lines of black nasta'liq within gold clouds in four columns above and below, illuminated heading, margin and leaf as previous lot, (minor flaking and rubbing, splits and repairs to margin, negligible damages to edges), verso with lines of black nasta'liq on gold-sprinkled paper in four columns within illuminated triangular panels, margins as recto, illuminated divisions, (light spotting)
