gouache heightened with gold on paper, in a rocky landscape, the emaciated Majnun sits in the desert caressing a deer surrounded by pairs of animals and talking to a man who sits before him, panels of black nasta'liq within gold clouds and illuminated triangles above and below, margins and leaf as previous lot, (slight flaking and creasing, very minor damages to edges), verso with lines of black nasta'liq within illuminated triangular panels in four columns on gold-sprinkled paper, margins as recto, illuminated divisions, (slight flaking and spotting)
