Circular and on four winged cherub's mask, shell and foliate feet and with applied shell, scroll and foliage border, the sides pierced with quatrefoils and scrolls and with detachable leaf-capped swing handle with female mask and applied rococo cartouche, later engraved with the Royal arms and below with and Earl's crest, motto and coronet, marked beneath - 12½in. (31.5cm.) diam.
