Herold with two Orientals paying homage to their superior before a high plinth with a steaming kettle and a figure holding a bird scarer beside a child and a figure with a pair of tweezers, on a continuous terrace with flowering shrubs and a palm tree, the shell and foliage moulded spout richly gilt and the wishbone handle with gilt ribs and shell terminal, the cover similarly decorated with Orientals at various pursuits and gilt pine-cone finial (very slight rubbing to finial and rims), blue crossed swords mark, gilder's 25. to both pieces and Pressnummer 20, circa 1740
