Shaped-oval and on four foliate scroll bracket feet, chased with spiral flutes and with hinged domed cover, marked on base - 5¼in. (14cm.) long

Lot Essay

Petter Sellstedt was born in 1730 and was apprenticed to M. Bernström in Härnösand between 1748 and 1753. His mark is found on pieces made in Sundsvald from 1764 until 1808 two years before his death
