FIRST EDITION IN ITALIAN. It is not quite clear whether this edition was printed at Antonio di Bartolommeo's Venetian press in the late 1470s or at his Florentine press in the early 1480s. The paper and type (closest to the 1476 Virgil state) point to Venice. HC *2071; GW 2892; BMC VII, 1136; IGI 982; Goff A-1248.
