A Highly Unusual 11-Bore Turkish Gun Fitted With An Austrian Wheel-Lock Mechanism

With tapering sighted barrel retained by two brass bands (one later) and with brass fore-sight and integral triple-aperture back-sight, plain tang, flat lock with raised integral wheel-cover engraved with a double-headed eagle and signed with maker's initials 'KZ', for Kilian Zellner of Vienna and Salzburg (recorded 1672-1693+), sliding pan-cover, and chiselled details, blackened walnut full stock (minor bruising) inlaid with pierced and engraved brass panels, faceted butt, rootwood butt-plate (wormed), button trigger, green-stained bone fore-end cap, and horn-tipped ramrod (cock expertly replaced)
