With rebrowned twist barrels signed in full on the rib and with silver fore-sight, case-hardened patent breeches each with gold line and gold-lined touch-hole (minor surface pitting), finely engraved grooved tang, serial numbered locks each with moulded border, gold-lined maker's stamp, stepped tail, roller, steel-spring with some original blued finish, and rainproof pan (cocks not a pair), figured walnut half-stock (minor bruising, inset repair at fore-end), chequered grip, leather-covered cheek-pad, finely engraved iron mounts (barrel-bolt chipped), trigger-plate with large pineapple finial, and brass-mounted ramrod, probably original, London proof marks
