With signed browned twist octagonal barrels (minor rust staining) each with gold line and platinum-lined touch-hole, silver fore-sights, finely engraved grooved case-hardened tangs each incorporating the back-sight, signed engraved detented case-hardened bevelled locks each with engraved safety-catch, stepped tail, semi-rainproof pan, roller, blued steel-spring, and original blued finish on the internal working parts, figured walnut half-stocks, chequered swelling flat-sided butts, finely engraved blued iron spur trigger-guards each with pineapple finial, case-hardened trigger-plates, silver-lined ramrod-entries, silver escutcheons, and original horn-tipped ramrods, one with worm, in almost unused condition with nearly all original finish: in original lined and fitted brass-bound mahogany case (minor damage to lining) with accessories including two-way flask covered in red leather (leather damaged), the lid with trade label for 1803-16, the exterior with circular escutcheon and flush-fitting carrying handle, London proof marks
