unsigned, the specimen spike on a baluster-turned ivory support, sliding along a short pierced brass arm, the underside with ivory handle for movement and forceps, the forceps threaded to unscrew to turn upside down and replace the spike, with brass-mounted objective, one lens threaded to unscrew, and baluster-turned ivory handle, both hinged to fold down onto the pierced arm for travelling -- 3¼in.
