A Meissen allegorical group of putti Circa 1760, marked with underglaze blue crossed swords at the back of the group and below the pedestal base
Gilt and painted in colours, modelled with two scantily clad Cupids drawing lots at a central table with marbled top, one seated and one standing blindfolded with a sheath of arrows on his back, another lying recumbent in front of the table holding a manuscript inscribed Di mille Amanti un sol Beata sortè (from thousands of lovers I will pick only one felicitous), on shaped rocaille base applied with flowers, raised on a quadrupod rocaille pedestal base reserved with cartouches painted with bouquets of Deutsche Blumen (minute chips)
