A large Meissen white figure of Apollo Circa 1750, marked to the side with small underglaze blue crossed swords
Modelled as a classical ephebe (Kouros) with long curly hair, a drapery around his shoulders, holding an orb in his right hand, seated on a shaped rockwork base applied with flowering branches (discoloured restorations)
