A pair of Meissen-pattern quadrupod oval salts
Late 19th century, marked with small blue crosses or pseudo-Meissen marks
After a silver model in the Régence style, gilt and painted in colours, the stepped flaring bowl decorated with sprays of Indianische Blumen, the lower part gadrooned, upheld by four female mascaroons (Frauenköpfe) wearing sgraffito-decorated purple garments, raised upon four scroll feet (one foot restored)
