A PAIR OF MINTONS PÂTE-SUR-PÂTE IVORY-GROUND VASES AND COVERS
Circa 1905, gilt crowned globe marks, signed A(lboin) Birks
Each of shield shape, with upright wreath and ribbon handles, decorated in white slip with a putto measuring the height of a nymph within an above arched-rectangular blue panel edged in grey, set on a wide green Bérainesque band, the reverse with an amatory trophy and enriched with gilt scale, tasselled drapery and foliate scrolls, on socle foot and square base
