A Louis XV style ormolu-mounted mahogany, parquetry and marquetry table a ouvreuse Circa 1880
The shaped ormolu-banded and hinged top with a central panel decorated with a basket of flowers, flanked by trellis-decorated panels, opening to reveal a red velvet-lined interior, above an ormolu-banded wavy apron, decorated in-the-round with trellis panels, inset to the front with a single drawer, the angles mounted with scrolling foliage, on cabriole legs tapering to foliate-cast sabots, the locks stamped VF with crossed keys
