The frames circa 1880, The upholstery 18th and 19th Century
Each with outscrolled padded back and rectangular seat covered in tapestry depicting La Fontaine's fables, one of the lion, the other of the wolf and the lamb, the frame carved with ruffled acanthus on a stippled ground, on acanthus-sheathed cabriole legs joined by a stretcher, on volute feet
