(Lacks final blank, light occasional soiling, inner margins of first quire strengthened.) 16th-century blindtooled pigskin over wooden boards, spine with four raised bands (rebacked in antique style pigskin, clasps lacking). Provenance: William Davignon (19th-century bookplate).

Fourth edition in German, containing the text of the previous editions with short prefaces by Schöfferlin and Wittich, with two additional books by Livius (xxiii and xl) first published in Latin in 1518 translated by Carbach who has added a postscript on ff 419-20.
