Vase-shaped and on domed spreading foot chased with a band of matting, applied with moulded ribs and chased above with four vertical panels of shells, foliage and scrolls on a matted ground, the pierced domed cover with baluster finial, engraved with crest and motto, marked on base, the cover unmarked - 6½in. (16.5cm.) high
