With nickel-finished lever movement, 23 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, the silvered matt dial with applied Roman and baton numerals, tachometer scale to outer silvered brushed chapter ring, two subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and 30 minutes register, the circular case with enlarged bezel, downturned lugs, snap on back (No. 620341), two rectangular chronograph buttons in the band, together with an 18K gold Patek Philippe buckle, Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives, case, dial and movement signed

Production of this model, reference 591, was launched in 1938.

Patek Philippe confirm production of this watch in 1939 and its subsequent sale on 11 March 1940. Examples with two-tone silvered dials rarely appear in auction.
