A VISIGOTHIC GILT BRONZE BELT BUCKLE

The tongue set with a blue-green glass cabochon in the small basal cube, a hook below for attachment to the oval loop, both joined to the rectangular plate through a folded flap, the box-like plate with all-over cloisonné centered around a small rectangular cell, each with yellow, green and aubergine glass inlays, the corners with rivets for attachment to the back-plate
