McKay, Edinburgh, 1862, baluster on short molded circular base, the sides chased with broad frieze of lush undulating foliage, tulips and fruits, centering engraved crest and motto, the foliate wrapped, rusticated, multi vine entwined scroll handle with insulators, and with foliate joins, the hinged partly raised, low domed cover with conformingly chased band, with open thumbpiece--11¼in.
