A FINE AND RARE CELADON-GLAZED BOWL AND COVER
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY, JINGWEI TANG ZHI HALLMARKS
Finely potted, the sides of the bowl rise at an angle to a widely flaring rim, the shallow domed cover surmounted by a circular knop finial inscribed against the white ground with the four-character hallmark, Jingwei Tang Zhi, 'Hall of Respectful Awe', repeated on the base of the bowl, both the bowl and cover applied with a pale celadon glaze
