The later central finial above a gadroon-carved case, the later circular painted dial under a Gothic fretwork arch, flanked by cluster-column pilasters above a central applied carving on a gadroon-carved base, the sides with pierced gothic-arched sounding boards, the twin-fusee movement with anchor escapement striking the quarter hour
