Well carved as two laughing boys, probably the Hehe Erxian, one standing and gesturing, the other holding a flat circular basket containing tortoises, both similarly dressed in belted tunics over short trousers, their hair in double topknots, joined at the base by a single bat, polished in areas to an attractive reddish-brown tone (minor chips)
