A GLAZED TILEWORKS MODEL OF A PAGODA
MING DYNASTY

Comprising two sections: the lower section molded as elaborate tiers of cruciform section with seated figures supporting the four topmost projections; the upper section molded as a tiled roof flaring outward beneath a balustrade and a plinth on which a figure of Buddha is seated atop a lotus, his hands held in abhayamudra, the petal-shaped mandorla behind molded with a band of apsaras, dragons and other animals within an outer border of flames, all in green, ochre and cream (some losses and restoration)
