A COPPER-RED-DECORATED CARVED CELADON BOTTLE VASE
18TH/19TH CENTURY

The ovoid body carved with a dragon leaping from the band of foam-flecked, spiralled waves above the foot, with rocks issuing from the waves on the reverse and with a mottled copper-red dragon applied to the shoulder at the base of the tall neck, encircled by a band of ruyi heads at the rim, the dragon with black eyes and the celadon glaze of sea-green tone (neck repaired, hair crack)
