A George III bright-cut oval teapot with matching teapot stand, the former with a tapering angular spout, polished wood scroll handle and domed hinged cover with oval wood finial, the latter on reeded curved legs and with a moulded rim, each engraved with a crest within a bright-cut shaped cartouche, both London 1791, the teapot stand by Henry Chawner, the teapot with no apparent maker's mark - height of teapot 5¾in., 19.50oz. gross.(2)See Illustration
