A finely engineered and detailed 5 inch gauge model of the L.M.S. Class 5xP 4-6-0 locomotive and tender number 5645 "Collingwood", built by H. Hicks -- 14 x 69½in.(35.5 x 176.5cm)
With brazed superheated copper boiler, with fittings including twin water gauges with inter-connected shut-off cocks, safety, blower, injector, whistle, clack blow-fown and other valves. Chassis details include, twin-outside cylinders, foot plate control drain cocks, cylinder head pressure relief valves, fluted motion, Walschaents valve gear, ratchet operated lubricator eccentric driven feed piper and by-pass, and brake gear. Further details include five piper work, sanding boxes and pipework, glazed cat windows, wooden cab floor and opening doors. Tender details include, hand feed pump, hand operated brake gear, water cocks, tool boxes, level gauge, tank vents and lifting eyes and rivet detail, finished in L.M.S. red livery and lining.
