A Chinese rounded rectangular pale grey agate pendant carved using the yellowish-brown inclusions with a man holding two gourds standing on rockwork below a tree and a boat on a river, the reverse with three lines of calligraphy below two guei dragons -- 2¼in.high; another agate pendant carved using the dark brown inclusions with three figures below clouds, the reverse with two figures one carrying a parasol the other a hobby-horse -- 2in.high, signed; a similar pendant carved with two scholars below a pine tree, the reverse with a figure above water and rockwork, with jade bead -- 2¼in.high, signed; and another agate pendant carved with a man clambering up a mountain with a goat below him -- 1¾in.high, signed, all 18th/19th century.
