A George II inverted pear-shaped teapot on spreading foot, with shell-fluted leaf-capped rising curved spout, leaf-capped scroll handle and domed hinged cover with detached cast artichoke finial, the body and cover chased with friezes of rococo flowers, foliage and shells, maker's initials probably I.
