Gurley, Troy, N.Y., the telescope with folding sights, rack and pinion focusing, the axis with 3½ Inch vertical circle raised on twin supports from the horizontal plate, the compass with blued-steel edge-bar needle, pivot and clamp, the scale divided in 4 quadrants, level and cross-bubble, fine adjustment with arc engraved 20°-0°-20° with vernier, on ball socket tripod mounting, with accessories and makers trade label, in fitted mahogany carrying case - 13¾in. (35cm.) wide.
