A Satsuma foliate rimmed bowl painted to the interior with ladies and children in conversation beneath an overhanging wisteria tree and crossing a bridge before pavilions in a mountainous river landscape on a dark blue and gilt ground of stylised flowers and geometric motifs, the exterior with a confronting dragon and phoenix above a band of stiff leaves (some gilt rubbing) -- 12in. diam, signed.
