An Attic black-figure eye cup, the exterior decorated with two pairs of eyes, on each side a figure of Athena wearing plumed helmet and carrying a spear, the interior with central medallion in the form of a gorgon's mask, with details in added red and white, repaired, with slight damage -- 11in. (28cm.) across handles, 6th Century B.C.
